I have officially been living in Mali for 7 months. I have had Malaria, I have had multiple rounds of Bamako Belly, I have had infections, stepped on nails, scraped my knees, cared for animals, and started a new job with a new group of people.
Mali has treated me to delicious foods, warm hospitality, adventuresome hikes, and lazy days at the pool. I am learning how to be a better coach/mentor and how to work in a conflicted affected area. I am learning how to be a better project manager and how to be a well rounded version of myself.
Here’s to 7 months Mali – thanks for the wild ride.
